As I agree that this is an injustice, but think that there is no reason to assume that it's especially bad in CS's mate's case, I've signed this

https://you.38degrees.org.uk/petitions/free-the-remaining-ipp-prisoners

instead.

You should reign yourself in here considering you're a fenian apologist cunt. Noone is sucking scums cock here. A mate of his is doing shovel twice over here. So don't try taking the moral high ground here, you twat.

Want to discuss? I'm in the Goose

Those two diverse people that killed the drummer they got the same sentence but with a minimum of 35 year's.

As did that lost prophets bloke.

I'm guessing a crime must be pretty bad to get a minimum sentence with no end in sight, or the crime was not that great but a long history of violent behaviour so better off inside?

But like the three strikes rule . Bloke gets caught shoplifting because he is hungry and gets life in clink.

The attempted murder and 2 kg of crack is conveniently forgotten.

Bollocks
Bods signed because they know or know of MT.

If you don't want to support it..fair do's...don't.

Bods get on their high moral ground over things like this..but as Crassus rightly pointed out..he's done his bird.

SG

That's my point, just because CS is seen as a bit of a face on here, people are rushing to sign something without knowing if the bloke deserves to be released or not.

You should sign the petition if you believe it's morally right for him to be released.

After reading the reasons why he's locked up, I've no sympathy for him and I'm glad I didn't sign it.

Re: Fellow Hammer needs support
What I find disturbing about this issue is that, not certified as insane/sectioned, individuals can effectively remain locked up long after they have served their allotted sentences. Not only that but they seem to have no legal recourse other than that someone has to be convinced that this person is not a danger to the public at large.

I am surprised that Mike Mansfield, Shami Chuklebutty and Sherri Blair have not taken action on any of these cases. Currently 4,600 incarcerated under the IPP protocol.

Be that as it may and the fact that the other party was seamimgly not exactly a peacenik in all this, the point remains that he was banged up on a stretch of no determined period by virtue of a now discredited system and has served over double his original time

I dont agree with that - had he been served 10 years then there would be no complaint from me

Prison terms appear to me to be all over the place. Get 6 years and be out after three, get 3 and be in after 7 - what the fuck is that all about?

Baseball bat in boot isn't right but understandable, but tooled up with two weapons while buying booze and deliberately blocking road then using them has no excuse.

My grandad used to have a baseball bat in the boot of his car just incase, yet he was not aggressive man people do it out of fear often or because they have had a bad experience with other car drivers.

I know matty of old and he could handle himself, but why carry a knife and pepper spray?
Sorry his selfish parking and being tooled up looks like he was looking for row.....I'm not signing!

Re: Fellow Hammer needs support

If it wasn't CS posting this, you wouldn't have the clique with their cocks out desperate to sign it. FACT.

Weirdest post ever.

1) That’s sort of how life works. If someone you like asks for help with something, then you generally tend to. If they’re a massive cunt, you might not bother.
2) Pretty much the same as every thread asking for help for a fellow hammer on here. Same people offering their help, and the same snide, cowardly, ignorant pricks taking shots from behind their keyboards.
